Trek deep into the African jungle on our Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari to come face-to-face with the Mountain Gorilla, among a plethora of other wildlife. The atmosphere of the trek through the jungle mist is unreal. This Gorilla trekking will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is home to the rare gentle giants (Gorillas) and to Kibale Forest National Park, a home to the Chimpanzees and other 10 primates. You will have great time climbing up and about the rolling hills, and going through the lush vegetation.

    Arrive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    On arrival in Entebbe Airport, you will be met by your guide and connect with a light aircraft to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On arrival at Kihili airstrip, you will be transferred for about 1hour your Lodge arriving in time for lunch. Rest and before dinner explore the lodge grounds with its clear mountain stream or visit the local village. Overnight at Bwindi Lodge or Similar. Meals Included: Lunch / Dinner

    Gorilla Trekking

    Wake up with the sun and meet your guide for an informative briefing before trekking deep into the jungle in search of endangered mountain gorillas. These sensitive creatures are surprisingly elusive, leaving the path and duration of your trek somewhat up to fate. Eventually, the strenuous trek will pay off when you discover a gorilla family – seemingly out of nowhere, going about their daily routines. Adult gorillas chew lazily on the surrounding vegetation. After one hour, leave the habituated family in peace to retrace your steps back to the lodge. Overnight at Bwindi Lodge or Similar. Meals Included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

    Bwindi – Entebbe – Departure

    After breakfast, bid farewell to the Forest as you transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe for your onward afternoon departure flight back home. Meals Included: Breakfast
